I have always enjoyed drawing ever since I was young and have always hoped to develop my art into a career. Through school I was pushed to try my best and end up in college and eventually university. Disheartened not getting the grades I had needed in my GCSE’s I decided to try careers elsewhere. I spent a few years in retail work and a year and a half in hydraulic engineering. I was never happy in these jobs, spending most of my time doodling and sketching on pieces of paper and till receipts.

Doing these jobs fulltime meant I had a lot less time to concentrate on my art. It didn’t leave me sufficient time to experiment and explore new ideas which I desperately wanted to. I decided to leave full time employment and dedicate my life to my art.

I’ve always loved drawing and had good ability at shading and blending techniques which I believe in the past few years I have developed to a highly professional finish. I never had the chance to work with paint before and have fully enjoyed creating pop art techniques, learning how to work with colours, for decorative purposes.
From looking in my portfolio you will notice a large amount of movie star portraits and paintings. I am heavily influenced by film, it is an art form itself but it also showcases my ability to capture the likeness of a person, hopefully giving possible customers the confidence in my ability.
